Why are we giving away this prize package?
It can be costly to homeschool, especially if you're doing it on your own. We stand behind the curriculum and items we're giving away because we think they're great, and we want to spread the love to other homeschool families. To give appreciation to the sponsors of this giveaway, please visit their sites, share their sites, like their Facebook pages, or show them love in other ways by telling other people about the giveaway on other social media platforms. Without our sponsors Lion Cub School and Girls Of American History, this giveaway would not be possible.

I have never heard of the Girls of American History curriculum before. What a neat idea. I like project oriented learning and unit studies so this would fit in well with our style. I would probably choose to start with Kaya. My girls are very into learning about Native American culture, and I know this would catch their interest and be a great starting point.
ReplyDeleteI would love to use Kaya - I made my kids a tipi and beaded dresses for their AG Dolls for Christmas so this would tie in perfectly with that!
ReplyDeleteLove American Girls and Girls of American History, not to mention the classic Little House on the Prairie!!! Thank you for the opportunity to enter the giveaway, it is a blessing...Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteMy oldest loves all the American girl books and challenging her with more to do would be wonderful. She just got the Josephina set for Christmas so I would chose that one
ReplyDeleteI will be purchasing the second release. We purchased the first but going through American history in order requires I get the booster curriculum to go along with what I have.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest loves American girl books. She just got the Josephina set and I would love to have more to challenge her. Surprisingly she hasn't read any Kaya before.
ReplyDeleteI'm most interested in Felicity or Kaya. We have all the Felicity books already and I think it would be a good way to round out our Revolutionary War studies. Kaya is a series I have never read, however, I have also been wanting to do Native American studies since we live in an area of Wisconsin with rich NA history and influence.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would be Josefina since I come from a Hispanic background. Learning all there is about Mexico (New Mexico) history is really great for my two girls.
ReplyDeleteI had not heard of this curriculum before. I would choose Kit since we have that doll.
ReplyDeleteI would like to purchase Kirsten. Kirsten was my favorite story as a young lady and now my daughter LOVES studying the pioneer days.
ReplyDeleteMy girls and I would love to win this so we can learn about Kaya and the history her stories tell. We've recently learned that we may have Native American ancestors so Kaya's moved up in our favorite American Girls. Just joking, we don't pick favorites. ;) =P [fingers crossed]

ReplyDeleteWe love reading American Girl books in our house. We have not learned about Kaya yet, so this would be great.
ReplyDeleteWe love all of the American girls in our house. Our favorites are probably Samantha and Rebecca.
ReplyDeleteWe love all of the American girls at our house. Our favorites are Samantha and Rebecca.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds awesome I'd love to win this!
ReplyDeleteWe are almost done reading Josefina, so it would either be that or Kirsten (my favorite).
ReplyDeleteI would love to get the New Orleans in the 1850’s Marie-Grace and Cecile unit
ReplyDelete(Kala)
I have used Girls of American History before and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it! Literature based studies are perfect for her. If I had my choice, I would order all 12 units!
ReplyDeleteLove love both these series!! Rebecca is our new fav ag girl!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter struggles with history, but I know that American Girl helps her so much!
ReplyDeleteMy 10 year old daughter loves Kaya and since we have native american ancestors on both my parents and on my husband's family this would be a great learning experience for her.
ReplyDeleteI love to learn about Felicity. My older daughter even had a dress like Felicity. I now have two more girls who haven't met FElicity yet!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is really interested in Kaya, and since we live in the Pacific NW, that is a great place to start.
ReplyDeleteI would like to do Josefina because I don't think our nation's Hispanic heritage is covered enough in other history resources.
ReplyDeleteI honestly would want the full set because I can't choose! I believe that all the girls are important and would benefit my girls. If I had to choose only one though, I would choose Kaya because we are part Native American and I would love for my girls to learn more about what life was like so long ago in a tribe.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful set of books.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I wasn't going to enter this at first because I have all boys, but many of these books look like things they'd like (Not sure about the Unit so much...though I might tweak it...or hand it off to a friend). I do think it's important that boys get exposed to books where the main character is a girl and to get to know about important women from history, not just men, so I might actually use the "American Girl" books on this. If I was going to get another set I think I'd get the Revolution.
ReplyDeleteI would order the Felicity set because she is my daughters' favorite. At least the oldest daughter like Felicity, so her little sister does too. Possibly Caroline because the is a time period I am interested in myself.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Girls and Girls of American History
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get the full set of 12 but if I had to pick ONE I guess it would be Girls of American History-Unit 8 World War II-Molly®. We (my 3 oldest kids and myself) have read through the Molly series and loved them. I would love to make it into a unit study!
ReplyDeletewe'd pick felicity or kirsten
ReplyDeleteI would love to buy Felicity. Her character seems so neat. My daughter is just starting to read Kaya and is really enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteKaya seems like such a fun one to start with, especially if we want to learn history at the same time and try to go in order. I think I would purchase Molly or Felicity.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome giveaway! My daughter received Kaya for Christmas so she would definitely love to do the unit study on Kaya and the Nez Perce.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing give away pack! New to you blog, looking forward to reading more!
ReplyDeleteWhat a awesome giveaway! I'don't love to add this to our collection!
ReplyDeleteI would love them all, but if I had to pick one place to start it would be with The Great Depression Kit.
